Barbican Young Photographers

Do you love photography and want to learn the skills to take fantastic photos?

The Barbican Young Photographers is a twelve–week programme, starting on Tue 4 April 2017 that brings young photographers together with professional art-form specialists to develop their skills and technique as a photographer.

The group will meet at the Barbican every week between 6.30pm–8:30pm to work alongside mentor photographer Camilla Greenwell. Guest mentors will lead specialised sessions and there will also be the opportunity to work alongside professional photographers as they shoot exhibitions and events across the Barbican’s artistic programme.

This programme will help young photographers:

• Build their portfolio
• Gain and improve their skills through mentoring with professional photographers
• Gain access to photo calls along with “rights to shoot” Barbican events
• Access an online audience through social media and potentially digital and print publications.
