Foundation Course Auditions
Applicants will be expected to prepare a monologue lasting no more than 2 minutes from a published play. There is no audition fee.
First round auditions will be held from 15th – 19th May 2017
Overseas applicants may arrange an initial Skype or Facetime audition.
Successful applicants will be invited to attend a second ‘group audition’. Secondary audition is by invitation ONLY: Please be aware that you may be asked to audition again on any ONE of these dates: 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 May 2017. Overseas applicants must physically attend a secondary audition at time that can be arranged to suit.
Acting Foundation Course
Students are taught acting skills such as improvisation, character voice, singing, dance and stage combat. They also work on classical and modern plays and learn a variety of techniques for rehearsal and performance. The approaches and theories of key acting practitioners are core parts of the syllabus as well as audition technique. You will also explore what is involved in being a working actor and how the industry functions.
